Porque o amor tudo vence…*

Hoje mostramos uma festa maravilhosa, a de Jonatan + Javi, em La Coruña, fotografada de forma feliz e luminosa pelos talentosos (e simpáticos!) Paperkite Photography.

Conta-nos a Angela:

“After exchanging vows in an intimate and private affair, they arranged to celebrate their wedding outdoors in the garden of their stylish country home in Galicia. All beautifully designed and meticulously styled by them, it was a treat for the eyes; a wonderful mix of Galician traditions and culture.

Friends lounged on hay stacks, scattered with old wine bottles and wild flowers. Linen cushions provided comfort and old wooden crates added extra seating for the large party that arrived. Fabric bunting with their initials beautifully on show, draped around the marquee. Straw hats were passed around and gave much needed shelter from the Summer sun. People lazed between the apple and plum trees while being served Tapas. The entire house was circled with different parties mingling and drinking. The garden was constantly full of laughter and chatter as family and friends gathered together. The atmosphere was energetic and full of cheer.

In the evening, fresh octopus drizzled in olive oil, rock salt and paprika ‘Pulpo a la Gallega’ was passed around on wooden dishes and devoured within seconds. As the night came creeping in, Orujo a strong distilled liqueur famous in Galicia, was set alight. As it blazed in a large pot, it was stoked and stirred by Jonatan while an incantation was recited – a Galician tradition. Afterwards all the guests were invited to drink the fiery potion.  After it was all consumed the party was well and truly on its way. People danced right through the night into the small hours of the morning.

Their day was a true representation of who they are and what is important to them – family, friends, their dog Rex and the beautiful region of Galicia.”
